Performance Cruiser With Style

Dragonfly RoadStar Warrior

Imagineered by Joe Heffernan
Customized by Bikes Built Better

The Dragonfly Road Warrior is a creation for Joe's passion for sport performance and desire for cruiser comfort and style. This bike started life as a 2006 Yamaha RoadStar Warrior that was purchased as a left over in September of 2007. The Warrior was a great choice for this project with its cruiser's low-end muscle combined with handling and maneuverability of a sport bike. In fact, the suspension is derived from our championship-winning YZF-R1, and the engine is wrapped in a high-tech aluminum chassis. He rode the bike for 600 miles till its first service confident that there were no factory warranty issues the bike would reside at Bikes Built Better till Spring of 2008 when it rolled out the way you see it now. Whether you call the Dragonfly Road Warrior a power cruiser or a sport bike, you're going to fall in love with its style and comfort. Pictured below is the Road Star Warrior as it was stock in November of 2007. A strong looking motorcycle from the factory it was fun to cut it up and add some unique features. Be sure to check out the photo galleries of the build with insight and explanations of the modifications made to this motorcycle.
